Their were 300+ attendeesand it was graced by the presence of Hon’ble law Minister Sh. Kiren Rijiju along with Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Sh. R. Venkatramani (Attorney general of India), Justice A. K. Sikri, Justice Madan B. Lokur and many Hon’ble judges, VC Funds, Corporates, General Counsels, Inhouse Counsel, Lawyers etc. The tremendous success and the overwhelming response have encouraged us to launch the third edition of the ‘Legal Powerlist 2022’. The event aims to identify and felicitate lawyers who exemplify distinction, quality service delivery and demonstrate superior leadership, reputation, and profile as Indian Lawyers.

Apply
All applications should be sent via this online nomination portal by filling a form and uploading supporting documents.
The ‘Legal Powerlist 2022’ involves Seven (7) categories and Twenty Eight (28) practice areas drawn from different sectors in India. Participants in Top 50 law firms and Top 100 Lawyers category can apply to a total of 5 (five) practice areas (1+4) listed on the website with an additional cost in each practice area.
After the nominations are received, the organisers will screen each one of them to ensure that the application process is complete and will contact the applicant in case any more information/mandatory documents are required.
Evaluation
Our esteemed Jury will first compile a preliminary shortlist of the most eligible candidates from the entire gamut of nominations.
The esteemed Jury will then prepare a final list of candidates in each category and practice area of the Powerlist.
This process may require the Jury members to do external research including communicating with the references provided by the nominees.
Shortlisting
The names of all winners will be announced in the Last week of February. The finalists will be drawn from this shortlist by the Jury after further evaluation.
Felicitation
The Winners selected by the esteemed Jury will be announced in the month of March at a physical event which will also be telecast by CNBC/CNN Network 18.
The Winners’ list will also be published in Forbes India magazine and on forbesindia.com, https://www.legalpowerlists.com.
